The Indian football team may not be playing in ongoing FIFA Football World Cup but there are many Indian football fans who are following the tournament and they have their own favourite players as well.
Former Indian cricket skipper Sourav Ganguly is also an ardent fan of football and he has tweeted his choice for the greatest of all time. We all know that Argentina and Portugal are out of the World Cup which means that we may not get to see Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo playing in World Cup anymore now. Both these players were in the contest for the GOAT (greatest of all time) but the Bengal tiger has named a third player for the GOAT.
Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter and called Argentinian footballer Diego Maradona as the greatest.
He also shared a video of top 10 goals scored by the Argentinian legend with caption, “With all due respect to all every world confirms me that this genius came from a different planet ..master at work..greatest”

Ganguly also talked about the Uruguay-Portugal match and said that the quality of game was very high; however he seemed to be unhappy with Ronaldo not shining.
He tweeted, “This World Cup football quality has been remarkable …what a ball from suarez..want to be ronaldos nite….”
