Sunil Grover’s Live Show In Ahmedabad Cancelled! The Reason Will Break Your Heart

Sunil Grover has a huge fan following and so, as soon as the news of his live gig “Comedy Family” came out, many fans couldn’t hold back their eagerness and excitement. This live show was supposed to be conducted on the 27th of May in Ahmedabad.

However, controversies don’t seem to end for him; after his tiff with Kapil and after his exit from the show, Sunil was surrounded by legal troubles. Due to this very reason, his Ahmedabad show i.e. Comedy Family stands cancelled. The sad part is that all tickets had been sold and everything was going smoothly.

Earlier too we had reported how Rajpal Shah, an event organizer from Ahmedabad had lodged a complaint against Sunil Grover because as per him, the comedian and his manager Devang Shah had cheated him by backing out from the contract at the last moment due to another live show in Ahmedabad (Comedy Family).

On the other hand, Sunil Grover had said that the show was cancelled because Rajpal had changed the date. The changed date wasn’t suitable for Sunil as his schedule was packed.

Now, the officials of the venue of Sunil’s live show in Ahmedabad (The Arena by TransStadia) have cancelled Comedy Family owing to the legal troubles that have surrounded Sunil.

The have posted this official announcement on their Facebook page. Here’s the screenshot;

The post read,

“Due to unavoidable circumstances we have been forced to cancel The Comedy Family show at The Arena by TransStadia on 27th May 2016. Ticket refunds will be initiated by BookMyShow and the refund amount will be processed within 10 working days. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.”

Everyone including Sunil Grover, Sugandha Mishra, Chandan Prabhakar and Sanket Bhosale were all set to perform at this show, but unfortunately, it had to be cancelled due to the legal controversies.
