Most of the cricket lovers were of the opinion that it happened because SKY is not happy with Kohli and the selectors for not selecting him for the Australian tour despite performing brilliantly in the IPL 2020 and earlier seasons of the league as well. In that match, Suryakumar Yadav had a superb knock of 79 runs in just 43 balls and he played an important role in his team’s win.

Now the Mumbai Indians batsman has opened up on that episode while talking to Sports Tak. Suryakumar Yadav talked about the match and said that though it was a pressure situation for him, he was enjoying it. He further said that it was an important match for his team as they would have reached the top of the points tally after winning it, adding that he wanted to contribute by scoring runs and he was really happy for the knock that he played. He also talked about his banter with the RCB skipper Virat Kohli and said that it was instinctive from both the sides.

SKY says that he is highly inspired by Virat Kohli because he has been dominating the cricket world in all the formats and there is no match to his energy irrespective of the team he plays for. Suryakumar Yadav has been in headlines lately but for all the wrong reasons. Some days ago, he liked a tweet in which Virat Kohli was trolled and though he unliked it later, the damage was already done as till then, it was noticed by many.

Suryakumar Yadav was instrumental in making his team Mumbai Indians win the IPL 2020 which was their fifth IPL victory.
