This week is quite happening for the Hindi movie lovers as two big movies have released this week. Yes, we are talking Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol starrer “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” and Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey’s “Chhapaak”.
“Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” got a wonderful opening as it earned Rs 15.10 crore on its first day but “Chhapaak” earned Rs 4.77 crore on Friday. The trade analysts were hoping that the collections of both the flicks would increase on the second day and it happened too.
Ajay Devgn’s “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” has created a storm on the box-office as it minted Rs 20.57 crore on the second day which makes its total earnings Rs 35.67 crore.

On the other hand, an increase was witnessed in the collections of “Chhapaak” too as the film earned Rs 6.90 crore on Saturday, totaling the amount to Rs 11.67 crore.

“Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” is based on the story of Tanhaji Malusare, a Maratha military leader and a close associate of Chatrapati Shivaji who played an important role in the battle of Kondhana. “Chhapaak” is based on the story of an acid attack survivor and her struggle to get justice and live life once again.
