The ICC media release says: “The ICC is working with the Bangladesh cricket team management to confirm times for the independent testing of both bowlers at the ICC-accredited testing centre in Chennai. The ICC regulations state “…every reasonable effort shall be made for the Independent Assessment to be carried out and the Independent Assessment Report furnished within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt of the Match Officials’ Report.”

It further reads: “Both players are free to continue bowling until the results of testing are known.”

Khaled Mahmood Sujan, former captain and current Bangladesh team manager states that presently they are thinking only about their next match which is against Ireland.

He told PTI, “ICC has expressed some concerns about their action but at this point in time, we will not make any further comments in this regard. The team is completely focused on our next match against Ireland.”
