The Indian actress Deepika Padukone is one of the most successful and highest paid actresses of the present times but it was not easy for her to make a mark in the industry as she was an outsider. In a recent interview, the “Bajirao Mastani” star talked about nepotism and said that 15-20 years back when she was an outsider, she had no choice other than dealing with it and it was her reality.
Deepika Padukone said that it is really a very difficult task for a person to make an impact in an industry where her parents had not worked and talking about things like nepotism is new trend but it was there when she entered the industry, it is still there in the present times and it will exist in the future as well.
She also talked about her struggling days and said that she had to face difficulties not just professionally but personally as well. Deepika added that she was just a teenager who had to shift to a new city where she had come to work in a new industry and there was no one from her family or friends in this industry.
She furhter said that at that time, she had to take care of her meals and transport and carry her bags as well but she never considered it as a burden, in fact she feels proud of herself whenever she thinks about those days.
Deepika Padukone is riding high on the success of “Pathaan” and “Jawan” also in which she did an extended cameo and her next release will be “Fighter” in which she is working with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor.
