Jio stores are running out of sim cards. Many customers are having issues with their sim card activation.

The process of activation is also cumbersome, first you have to submit the necessary documents and identity proofs, then you have to wait for a couple of days for the activation. The process is time consuming.

Earlier it was reported by Telecom Talk, Jio is considering the huge demands of sim cards and is planning to launch an online portal through which people can avail a Jio SIM at their doorstep by filling the required data in the Jio portal. The sim card will be delivered to the applicant’s address in 5-7 days.

The company may launch the web portal soon. To book a sim card, you have to fill personal data like full name, address, alternate mobile number and ID proof details. Once the details are verified, the Reliance Jio 4G Sim card will deliver to the user’s mentioned address within 5-7 days. It has also been reported that the company has tested this home delivery service in the metro cities.

Many websites are reporting that Reliance is delivering the Jio SIM door to door. And to avail the facility, you have to follow these instructions. But it’s not true.

If you visit the Jio website, you’ll find there is no doorstep delivery option launched yet by Reliance. Several websites are misleading you for clicks.

Although we do hope that Reliance launches a doorstep delivery option soon. This will help in solving the problem of SIM availability.
