Bollywood plays a vital role for my love towards mountains covered with snow. Every girl still wish to wear a chiffon saree in the mountain tops and dance like no one’s watching. There was a time when Bollywood movies had at least one song shot in Switzerland no wonder why Bollywood is the second largest film industry.
The first movie to have been shot in Switzerland is 64’s classic Sangam starring the legendary Raj Kapoor. A few years later, another movie was shot in Switzerland is Dev Anand’s A Evening in Paris though the movie solely focuses on Paris, but a famous song and a few scenes were shot there.
Many directors used the beauty of Switzerland in their movie,s but no one could do it better than the renowned director Yash Raj Chopra, he fell in love with the place back in 1970 and since then he has shot several songs, movies in there.
Yash Raj Chopra captured each part of Switzerland with his vision. How can one forget the iconic movie DDLJ and the song zara sa jhoom lo mein. Since then Switzerland became a part of Bollywood.
Here is the list of 10 movies which were shot in Switzerland:
