The Israel-Palestinian conflict is a very old one and we get to read news about it regularly. But this time a photo has taken everyone by surprise, a photo of an Israeli soldier who is trying to arrest an 11 year old Palestinian kid in the West Bank area is going viral on the internet.

The photo shows that the Israeli soldier tries to arrest the Palestinian boy while his mother is trying to pull the soldier back in an attempt to free the boy. This all happened after the Friday’s weekly protest of Palestinians against settlement construction done in Nabi Saleh village in the West Bank. It is said that some Palestinians threw stones on the Israeli soldiers after which the soldier tried to arrest the 11 year old boy.
The video was shot by Bassem Tamimi, boy’s father, he also told CNN that his family regularly shot the protests and upload them on website Nabi Saleh Solidarity. The video has already been seen by more than 3 million people.

Tamimi said, “This is very difficult for any father or mother to see their son or daughter in that way, being violently attacked.”

Boy’s sister A’Hed also joined her mother and tried to bite the soldier’s hand, trying to free her brother.
The Israeli army has shielded its soldier’s action saying that the crowd has thrown stones on the army, spokeswoman of Israeli army said. “The forces decided to detain one of the Palestinians identified hurling rocks.”

However, the commander of the army didn’t want to make the situation worse so he stopped the arrest.
