This 2-Yr Boy Was Accused Of Being A Witch & Left On Streets To Die! Here’s How He’s Rescued

A Danish lady, Anja Ringgren Loven has saved the life of a two year old Nigerian boy who was abandoned by his family and society as they thought him to be a witch. Anja rescued the kid while he was roaming naked on the streets, living on food that passersby threw at him for nearly eight months. He was suffering from malnutrition and she took him to the hospital.

Some pictures of Anja and the kid who has been named Hope are viral on the Internet and in one of the photos, she is seen feeding the kid and offering him water.

Anja lives in Africa and runs African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation which she founded in order to save the kids who are called witches, abandoned and sometimes even get killed by their members of society.

She wrote on Facebook in Danish language, “Thousands of children are being accused of being witches and we’ve both seen torture of children, dead children and frightened children.” She also requested people to make donations so that the medical expenses of Hope can be borne. She also told that Hope has been treated for removing worms from his stomach and blood transfusions are also done daily to provide him with more red blood cells.

Here are few photos that she posted on Facebook:

She further added, “Hope’s condition is stable now. He’s taking food for himself and he responds to the medicine he gets.” She got $1 million as donations within just 2 days of making a request. She wrote, “With all the money, we can, besides giving Hope the very best treatment, now also build a doctor clinic on the new land and save many more children out of torture!”
