Wow, now this is the kind of story that really excites us. An evil culprit is punished on the spot and learns a lesson, sounds like a written plot of some bad-turn-good movie, Right?. Yes, it eventually is one such true story that we heard today.
The story goes something like this – A guy in Brazil was acting smart and thought he was a pro in pick pocketing and stealing unless and until he came across this beautiful woman who gave her a lesson of lifetime. But interestingly, the robbers were robbers of their pride soon after, and smacked down to floor in dust. The thief thought it is an easy target to pick a young girl, and snatch away her cellphone but little did he know that the young lass was a professional MMA Fighter.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night, and the robbers was left gasping for life and begging to leave him but they had already instigated the fighter streak of Monique Bastos. In the video you can see how the robbers turned into beggars and regretted their move.
Unfortunately, Bastos says the situation was all too familiar as she had been robbed in the past as well. “I’ve been through this a few times before, and it’s the second time I fought back. As for the previous incident, there were two guys, and they were using knives, but I was able to use my jiu-jitsu and get my phone back.” said the MMA Champ.
