This Is How Google Surpised The Man Who Owned ‘Google.com’ For 1 Minute For Just $12 - RVCJ Media

Do you remember Sanmay Ved, the Indian who did something that was nearly unbelievable? Yes, you guessed it right; he is the person who purchased Google for a price of just $12. And now Google has paid him in a great manner!

Sanmay was surfing the Internet one day; while checking the list of Google domains he saw that google.com is on sale and that too for just Rs.788 and he immediately purchased it. He was all over the web after he shared his experience; however, his deal was cancelled by an order cancellation email by Google domains.

Nevertheless, Google did not just make a refund of his $12 but also paid him $6,006.13 for his services revealed in a blog post by Google which was about “Google Security Rewards,” for 2015.

“Our initial financial reward to Sanmay – $6,006.13 – spelled-out Google, numerically (squint a little and you’ll see it!). We then doubled this amount when Sanmay donated his reward to charity.”

It is still unclear how Google made this mistake but Sanmay contacted the Google Securities after the incident and Google Securities offered him a monetary reward. But when they came to know that he’s going to donate this amount to the Art of Living India foundation, a charity organization, they just doubled the reward. Isn’t it amazing?
