In the first ODI, the Indian side completely overpowered the hosts and won the match comfortably but in the second ODI, the Sri Lankans made a comeback and had an upper hand for the majority part of the match. There was a time when India had lost seven wickets at the score of 193 and needed 83 runs to win the match with Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the crease.

Deepak Chahar played a brilliant knock of 69 runs and along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, he ensured that the Indian squad wins the match. The Sri Lankans were really shocked at this defeat as they were in a pretty strong position in the match and the frustration was quite visible on the face of the Sri Lankan team head coach Mickey Arthur. In fact, the coach also had a heated debate with the Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka while they were on the field.

Now a video is going viral in which team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid is seen having a chat with Dasun Shanaka during the 3rd and the final ODI which Sri Lanka won and the netizens were speculating what Dravid would have told Dasun.

Here is the video:

Recently, Dasun Shanaka has opened up on this matter and as per reports, Rahul Dravid has told him that he has been leading his team pretty well and every Sri Lankan cricketer has made praiseworthy efforts. The former Indian cricketer also tells the Sri Lankan skipper that he and his team are surprised with the manner in which the Sri Lankan team has shown improvement in the second ODI, though India has attained victory in that match after a close fight.

Rahul Dravid also applauded unity of the Sri Lankan team and added that without it, no team can be a winner.

The second T20I will be played today (Tuesday) and while the hosts will like to level the series by winning it, the visitors will certainly try their best to take an unassailable lead by beating Sri Lanka in the match.
