Thugs Of Hindostan is one of the biggest Box Office release this year. The film took a flying start at the Box Office and earned 52.25 crores net on Day 1. The opening was historic and highest ever but negative word of mouth proved to be a barrier for the film and the collections dropped by 46% on Day 2 which was almost a crash.
However, despite such a big drop the film still earned 28 crores net. The two day collections are 80 crores approx which is magnificient and it’s certain that the film will cross 100 crores mark today. The only question is by how much distance it will do that.
Considering the fact that it’s a Saturday, the collections should jump and at least be above 30 crores mark. This will mean a 110 crores net for first 3 days which is pretty awesome and in competition with some of the top grossers of All Time.

1. The Opening Record
The last highest opening record was held by Happy New Year which earned 44.50 crores approx on Day 1. TOH earned 52.25 crores net thus being the current Highest Opener of All Time.
2. First film to cross 50 crores on Day 1
No Bollywood film has touched 50 crores net on Day 1 and TOH is the only film to do it so far.
3. Highest Single Day collections
Apart from opening day, never ever on a single day any Bollywood film has collected this much amount. The last record is held by Sanju as it earned 46 crores net approx on Sunday. TOH broke even that record.
4. Two Day Total Business
The film has earned 80 crores net approx in a matter of just 2 days which has never happened before. The film could’ve also made a weekend record but that seems difficult now due to negative word of mouth.
