Tik Tok Informed The Community After Being Banned From The Online App Stores

On 3rd April Madras High Court appealed for a ban of Chinese application TikTok, saying it encourages pornography and effects the child as the application is used by mostly teenagers.

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on Tuesday asked the technology giants Google and Apple to take the video making application form their respective play stores after Supreme Court refused to stay an earlier order by the Madras high court on Monday.

The video creating application has been removed from both Google and Apple play store and the new users can’t download the application anymore but the existing users can use the 15-sec video sharing platform.

TikTok which nearly has 0.5 billion users and 119 million users from India. They were facing a lot of questions from their users so TikTok released a statement on the current ban which created a lot of havoc for the Chinese application.

TikTok is working hard to clear the community and they have already deleted 6 million videos which didn’t abide by the guidelines of the famous application.
