True Face Of BJP! Earlier It Said ‘Demonetizing Is Anti-Poor’ & Now Says ‘Demonetizing Is To Help The Poor’

The demonetizing of Rs 500-1000 notes is the move taken by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to flush all the black money which is present in our nation. To break the grip of corruption and black money, Modi decided that the Rs 500-1000 currency notes presently in use will no longer be legal tender. All the anti-national and corrupt people who have stashed black money in their safe, lockers have a lot to worry now. Their precious money has become worthless piece of paper in some days.

NOW in 2016 during BJP government

BJP said that PM Modi’s move is an assault on the black money holders, fake currency which is being circulated in our country by Pakistan. This decision has created some short term problems, causing inconvenience among the people, but this will be the beginning of a new India.

The demonetizing move is an attack on the corruption, it’s an attack on the terrorism. This step will clean the politics, everyone should come together and welcome this move. And if you’re opposing this, then come forward and explain your reasons to the people. This is BJP president Amit Shah said in his press conference.

THEN in 2014 during Congress government

Let’s wind the clock two years back; that time UPA government who decided to demonetize the currency notes prior to 2005. The BJP National spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi criticized the government’s move of demonetizing the notes. She said that the present govt. is in no position to measure the correct quantum of black money because those who have the black money will convert it into new currency notes.

She further said that the common people, the illiterates, and people with little access to banking facilities will be the ones, to be hit by this cruel blow. Common people who have spent years to earn money, their life savings will be targeted. People with no bank accounts will suffer a lot.

The UPA scheme will do nothing to remove black money from circulation. The corrupt and the black money holders will legally convert their currency notes with no difficulty through their resources, they’ll hire the people for the job to exchange the money in banks. India’s 65% population do not have bank accounts, and store their money in cash. And these 65% population people are largely illiterate, poor, older and live in remote areas. She further added,

The poor and the common people will fall victim to middlemen who will scare them that the notes are worthless, and charge them hefty fees to convert them. They will also be ripped off by shopkeepers after 1 April, saying the old notes can only be accepted at a discount. This policy of Mr. P. Chidambaram is only meant for blue blood and not for the sweating red bloodied toiling millions. It is not going to affect those, who have numbered accounts in Swiss accounts, but affect those who do not have any bank account even in India.
