Let us just try to find out whether this photo is depicting the truth or it is simply misleading the public.

The monthly salary of President is Rs. 1.50 lakhs and in addition to that, Indian government gives him Rs. 22 crore yearly for other expenses as well as maintenance of President house.

Now let us take a look at the Prime Minister’s salary:

If we add it up, the total salary of Narendra Modi comes to Rs. 1.58 lakhs monthly. The Prime Minister also gets a bungalow at 7, race course along with some other facilities.

The monthly salary of Delhi CM includes:

So the total monthly salary of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is Rs. 72,000. In addition, he gets other facilities such as electricity, foreign visits fund medical, etc.

However, the Delhi Vidhansabha passed a bill last year on December 3 for increasing salaries of MLA and it was sent to the Central government for acceptance. The bill was rejected by the Central government citing the reason that before sending it to the Central government, the bill needs approval from the LG. So Delhi government has now sent the bill to the LG for his approval which is still pending.

If the bill is passed, this will be the salary of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal:

If we add all the allowances, his salary will be almost three times of what he is earning now, he will get Rs. 2.20 lakhs as his monthly salary. Additionally, he will also get Rs. 25,000 for working as an MLA, Rs. 30,000 for salary expenses of four employees, Rs. 3 lakhs yearly as allowance for travelling abroad which is Rs. 50,000 at present.

So if we talk about the photo, it is NOT depicting the complete truth.
