The USA President Donald Trump is one of the most famous political leaders of the world and this is not just because he is the President of the world’s biggest super-power but also for his statements and his conduct. There is no denying the fact that he has not been very effective in handling the coronavirus pandemic in America due to which he has been slammed by the opposition and public of his country.
The USA President is once again in news and this time, it is for his nomination for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. Well, you may find it difficult to believe but it is true that he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2016 as well.
As per the reports, the President Donald Trump has been nominated by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a lawmaker from Norway and it happened after the President made an announcement that he mediated in the historic peace agreement which took place between UAE and Israel. Christian feels that Donald Trump has managed to create history by bringing an end to a long conflict. The Norwegian lawmaker who has been a member of Parliament for four times has written in the official nomination letter of the committee that there are good chances that all other countries of Middle-East will also follow UAE and this will bring peace, prosperity and cooperation in the region.
Christian Tybring-Gjedde who is also designated as the chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly strongly feels that the President Donald Trump has made more efforts in restoring peace between the conflicting nations in comparison to the other nominees.
