KK has sung songs in various languages including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Assamese, Odia, Marathi, etc. and has won many awards for the superb work that he has done in his lifetime.

KK took his last breath in Kolkata on May 31 after performing in a live concert at Nazrul Mancha where he complained about the improper air-conditioning facilities. While people from the Indian music and movie industry are paying tributes to the singer who departed from the world at the age of 53 yrs, there is one person who is getting slammed left and right for his derogatory remarks on KK.

We are talking about a famous Bengali singer Rupankar Bagchi who posted a video in which he talked about KK. He says that there is a lot of excitement as the one and only KK has come to perform at Nazrul Mancha. Bagchi adds that he has seen some videos and there is no doubt that KK is a wonderful singer but at the same time, he also realizes that many Bengali singers are better than KK and though they are as popular in Bengal as KK is yet these regional artists can’t even dream of making as much money as KK has made.

Rupankar Bagchi goes on to ask the Bengali music lovers who KK is and why they are not as excited for them as they are for KK. He takes names of Bengali singers and says that these singers are far better than KK and then he asks fans as to how long they will remain obsessed with Bombay.

KK was certainly a gem and it feels sad to see a singer getting jealous of another singer. RIP KK.
