Twitter Sparked With A Hilarious Meme Fest After Google’s Services Stopped Working

The Internet has become an integral part of our lives and Google can easily be called our support system. While we can search about anything on the largest search giant Google, Gmail gives us the facility to communicate with others and YouTube helps us in getting educated as well as entertained by watching videos. However, the biggest nightmare of the netizens turned true yesterday when various Google services including Gmail, Google Doc, YouTube and Google Maps stopped working.

In simple words, the world came to a standstill and many people felt that this is one more reminder that we are still in 2020. These are the times when almost everything is done online and the government is also focusing on making the whole country digital. Yesterday people came to know how much they are dependent on Google and its services and soon the micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with memes and jokes in which the netizens expressed their annoyance or feelings regarding the outage of multiple Google services in a funny manner.

However, this has also started a new debate as many people think that India should work on creating its own search engine, video platform etc. just like China, Russia and other countries have done because over-dependence on other country’s system can be problematic in the future.
