“Veere Di Wedding” starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania released yesterday. There’s no denying the fact that it was one of the most awaited movies of the year and the big star cast definitely succeeded in drawing audience to theatres.
It’s the story of four childhood friends – Kalindi (Kareena Kapoor Khan), Avni (Sonam Kapoor Ahuja), Sakshi (Swara Bhasker) and Meera (Shikha Talsania) who come together for the wedding of Kalindi. She’s getting married with her boyfriend even though she’s not comfortable with this wedding. When these friends reunite, they tackle with a number of issues related to past with a brave approach.
Talking about the first day collections of “Veere Di Wedding”, it certainly had a remarkable opening as the flick earned ₹ 10.70 crore on Friday.

This is a good news for the makers as “Veere Di Wedding” has managed to make it to the list of Top 5 Bollywood openers of 2018 and is on the third spot.

The opening day collection of “Veere Di Wedding” is surely wonderful taking into consideration the fact that it’s a women-centric movie.
