Fans of Royal Challengers Bangalore are dancing with joy as the women’s team of RCB has won the WPL trophy, something which the men’s team has not been able to do in the last 16 years.
RCB is one of those few teams which haven’t won a single IPL title despite playing the tournament since the inaugural edition and it won’t be wrong to say that RCB has always been packed with star players whether it’s AB de Villers, Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, etc.
Virat Kohli who is touted as the Greatest Of All Times (GOAT) by many in the cricket fraternity and whose fans love to call him King Kohli has been playing for RCB since 2008 and he also led the team for few years but failed in making it win the IPL title even once.
After the women’s team of RCB lifted the WPL trophy, RCB fans were not able to control their excitement and they came out on the roads to celebrate their team’s first IPL win but there were some who took this as an opportunity to troll the men’s team.
Soon some memes started getting circulated on X (formerly Twitter) and here are some selected ones:

As far as the finale is concerned, RCB played it against Delhi Capitals yesterday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi and after winning the toss, DC chose to bat first.
Though DC got a good start, their batting collapsed and they could manage only 113 runs on the score board. RCB chased it comfortably with 8 wickets in hands and with 3 balls remaining in their innings.
Well, one thing is for sure that now the pressure of winning the IPL trophy will be more on the men’s team as they have been trying it for the last 16 years but the women’s team managed to do it in their second season only.
Congratulations to the women’s team of RCB!
