Virender Sehwag Trolls Rohit Sharma For His Fitness & Calls Him Vada Pav, See The Video

There is no denying the fact that IPL 2020 is just like a nightmare for Chennai Super Kings as the team which used to be the favourite for winning the IPL in every season is sitting at the bottom of the points table this year. CSK has played 12 matches till now and won only 4 out of them, it is certainly the worst season for the three times IPL winner. MS Dhoni has been leading the team since the inaugural session of 2008 but this time, even his leadership has also been slammed.

The last match that CSK played was against the defending champions Mumbai Indians and it won’t be wrong to say that MI crushed CSK pretty easily. MI is at the top of the points table with 7 wins out of 10 matches that they have played and will certainly enter the play-offs.

On October 23, in the match against CSK, MI’s skipper Rohit Sharma didn’t play as he suffered hamstring injury in the match against Kings XI Punjab and he was replaced by Saurabh Tiwary in the playing squad.

Virender Sehwag, the former Indian cricketer who is also known for his wittiness is hosting a show Viru Ki Baithak in which he reviews the performances of the teams. While reviewing the CSK Vs MI match, Viru took a jibe at the fitness of Rohit Sharma as he called him vada pav, adding that he was replaced by samosa pav (Saurabh Tiwary).

As far as the match is concerned, CSK has given youngsters a chance to show their talent as they are already out of the race of entering the play-offs. Batting first, CSK was losing wickets at regular intervals and there was a time when everyone felt that they would not be able to put 100 runs on the board. Sam Curran’s fifty helped CSK score 114 runs for the loss of 9 wickets but this score was very less for MI’s strong batting lineup as their openers Ishan Kishan (68*) and Quinton de Kock (46*) ensured that no other MI batsman needed to come on crease to bat.

Mumbai Indians won the match by 10 wickets and it was certainly a humiliating loss for the Chennai franchise.
