Virender Sehwag Uses Shah Rukh’s Song To Give Advice To SRH After They Lost Two IPL Matches

David Warner led Sunrisers Hyderabad has started the IPL 2021 on a very bad note as it has lost its first two matches and both of them were pretty close games. The Hyderabad franchise is sitting at the seventh position after losing the first match against Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs and yesterday it lost its second match by 6 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In the SRH vs RCB match, the toss was won by David Warner led team and it decided to bowl first. The SRH bowlers performed pretty well as they restricted RCB at a small score of 149/8. The highest scorer for RCB was Glenn Maxwell who scored 59 runs in 41 deliveries (5 fours & 3 sixes) and the skipper Virat Kohli also made a useful contribution of 33 runs but other than these two, no other RCB batsman was able to face the SRH bowlers effectively. Jason Holder was the pick of the bowlers for SRH as he took 3 wickets in his 4 overs and gave 30 runs.

The start of SRH batting was disappointed as Wriddhiman Saha got out at the score of 1 after playing 9 balls but skipper David Warner along with Manish Pandey stabilized the innings. While David Warner scored 54 runs in 37 balls (7 fours & 1 six), Manish Pandey made 38 runs in 39 deliveries (2 fours & 2 sixes) before getting out. However after these two got dismissed, no other SRH batsman was able to play a big innings and as a result, SRH lost the match by 6 runs.

The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has given a piece of advice to the orange army by posting a photo of the New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and quoting a song from Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Main Hoon Na” which is sung by Sonu Nigam. Virender Sehwag wrote, “Kiska hai yeh tumko intezaar, Main hoon Na”.

Here is the tweet:

In simple words, Viru wants to suggest SRH that their batting problems can be solved by including Kane Williamson in the playing eleven.

However in an interview earlier, the head coach of SRH Trevor Bayliss said that Kane needed some more time to recover from the left-elbow injury that he sustained in the series against Bangladesh.

According to Trevor, they may have played Kane in place of Jonny Bairstow but as of now, Kane Williamson is still not completely recovered and he also needs to spend some time in the nets. But Trevor has made it clear that Kane Williamson will certainly come in picture as the tournament proceeds.

SRH will be playing their next match against the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Saturday.
