The nation couldn’t get over the amazing wedding of Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and now rumours are doing rounds that love birds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might tie knot soon.
Needless to say, fans have been eagerly waiting for DeepVeer (as the couple is lovingly called) to announce about their marriage which won’t be less than a big affair for the film fraternity.
As per SpotboyE, their wedding might take place in the next 3-4 months. Parents of DeePee flew to Mumbai from Bengaluru last week for meeting Ranveer’s parents and finalising the date of marriage.
A source revealed that they met at Deepika’s Prabhadevi residence and subsequently, the duo with their parents enjoyed dinner at Worli’s Four Seasons.
Talking about the marriage, the couple wished for a destination wedding; however, Ranveer’s parents want it to take place in Mumbai only so that their relatives from Delhi and Mumbai can attend it.
According to a source,
“Ranveer and Deepika wanted a destination wedding, but, the actor’s parents are keen it takes place in Mumbai. Reason? Most of Singh family’s relatives live in Mumbai and Delhi and they do not want them to miss out on the celebrations.”
The source added,
“The wedding will take place as per South Indian rituals and high profile venues such as Taj Lands End, Four Seasons and St Regis are being considered as the venue. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a grand reception.”
As per reports, Deepika already started shopping for her wedding and flew to London on 2nd March with the parents of Ranveer to buy jewellery; nevertheless, the actor couldn’t accompany them as he is busy with the shooting of “Gully Boy”.
