Just four days before the wedding, Avinash fell ill and soon he was admitted in the high-dependency unit as he got diagnosed with dengue. His blood platelet count dropped to 10K which is very low as the threshold is of 20K and his father thought of postponing the wedding as there was no chance of Avinash getting discharged before his wedding day.

However, when Anuradha and her family came to the hospital to see Avinash, both the sides thought of holding marriage ceremony in the hospital on the decided day. Avinash’s father Rajesh Kumar stated that they were very worried as their son fell ill and his blood platelet got so low. They were also tensed because the family of the bride had made all the arrangements and had also invited the guests. He added that the good thing was that the hospital authorities also granted the permission and they would have a reception party after Avinash will be fine.

Anuradha who is a nurse by profession stated that she had never thought that her baraat would not come and in place of that, she will go to hospital to get married.

The marriage ceremony was attended by only 10 guests as allowed by the hospital, while Avinash wore his sherwani, Anuadha looked beautiful in her bridal gown.

An X user posted the video with the caption, “A couple got married at Max hospital in Vaishali, Ghaziabad. The groom was suffering from dengue and was admitted to the hospital on November 25 with his wedding due on Nov 27. The wedding took place as scheduled, but in the hospital.”
