During Valdai International Discussion Club in late 2014, the Russian President Vladimir Putin is asked by an US journalist as to why USA President Barack Obama considers Russia as a threat. Putin in his reply says that Russia never sees USA as a threat; it is just that Russia speaks very firmly when it comes to its national interests. In Putin’s opinion, those people who are in the circle of power in USA practice imperialistic politics which is harmful not only for the world but for also the USA itself.
He spoke on ISIS also and asks the journalists that don’t they know who created ISIS, and who arms them, who pays them. Putin said the persons who are a part of these organizations are mostly mercenaries and they will fight for anyone who pays them more.
