While speaking on Jio Cinema, the former cricketer stated that in 2013 when MI lost 4-5 matches, he and John Wright went to Rohit Sharma and asked him whether he was ready to take up the captaincy of the team. Kumble said that Rohit Sharma responded in positive and since then, he has been incredible as a skipper and has won the maximum IPL titles as a captain.
