The matches are choreographed, they have expert creatives who plan the feuds between the superstars, write a story-line. The results of the matches are predetermined. Superstars are informed about how a match will be finished, what spots to pick, what moves will be used.

Foley received numerous injuries in this match, he suffered a dislocated shoulder due to the fall in the first bump, but he continued the match. The second bump when Undertaker chokeslammed Mankind atop the chain-link mesh cage, resulting in Foley falling through and hitting the ring canvas hard below. He dislocated his jaw, his tooth knocked out and hanging beneath his nose. And the guy smiles even though he’s bleeding WOW!

3. Edge spears Jeff Hardy off the top of a 20-foot ladder.

Those guys did really put the stage on fire at Wrestlemania 22. It was a short, but a crazy match, it totally stole the night. Doing a fire spot isn’t easy as it looks so kudos to both Edge and Foley for doing it. You’ll find this one-of-a-kind entertainment only in the WWE.

5. The Rock Vs Mankind ‘I Quit’ Match.

This is one of the brutal matches of all time. During the match Mick Foley took  11 unprotected chair shots to the head while handcuffed. The match was made to make The Rock look a real deal, they had agreed on 5 chair shots, but Rock carried away during the match. The worst part was that Foley’s family was sitting in the front row. His kids had to see their dad got beaten up pretty bad.

6. Owen Hart Crushes Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Neck.

WWE has always asked the fans to not try the wrestling moves at home or anywhere. These moves can only be performed by the professionals, even the professionals make mistakes at times. After Hart botched a pile-driver, dropped Austin on his neck, Austin was left with a broken neck and temporary paralysis.

8. Death of Owen Hart.

Professional wrestling is no joke. The worst tragedy that happened in the history of WWE is the death of Owen Hart. At Over The Edge PPV Owen Hart was set to make an entrance from the ceiling, and he fell from the ceiling. He landed on the ring-post hitting his back on it and it was announced on-screen that his bones were crushed.

 9. Seth Rollins breaks John Cena’s nose in a gruesome manner.

Even though the match is scripted, the result is predetermined, but a lot can happen in the ring which is not on the script. John Cena gets his nose broken, but continues to wrestle the match. He improvised the match. He could have gone backstage to receive the medical attention, the match should have been stopped, but he continued. John Cena is one tough guy.

10. Randy Orton falls back first into thumb tacks!
