Baahubali 2 enjoyed immense success at the Box Office and the credit goes not only to the actors but also to the superb promotions that were done; without hectic promotions, the movie wouldn’t have been able to create a rage.
After record breaking collections, everyone wanted to know how much Karan Johar earned from it. Karan has played a very important role in promoting the movie.
Dharma Productions, his production house, acquired the rights of Baahubali 2’s Hindi version.
Now, as per the rules of the industry, the distributor gets 40-60 percent of what the film has earned. As of now, Baahubali 2’s Hindi version has earned 478 crores, which means, the distributor share is around 220-230 crores.
Out of that, Dharma Productions i.e. Karan Johar’s production house acquired the distribution rights on 10 percent commission base. 10 percent of 220-230 crores is around 22-23 crores. Now, this is what Karan Johar has earned from the film.
Wow, this is a good amount; with Baahubali 2’s success, Dharma Productions has surely benefited a lot. For Karan Johar, Baahubali 2 proved to be a very good deal, isn’t it?
