An expectant mother named Ishwari Singh Vishwakarma unexpectedly got a special yet beneficial gift from Ola on her way to hospital for delivery!
Yes, you read it right! The incident took place on 2nd October when Ishwari experienced some problem. Ramesh Singh Vishwakarma, her husband, booked Ola for reaching hospital.
Cautious driver:
The driver of the cab, Yashwant Galande, realized the seriousness of the situation and as he knew that she might deliver the baby at any time, he was driving very carefully. Here’s what The Hindu is told by the driver,
“When we reached Timber Market, I heard the cry of the baby. Fortunately, as it was a national holiday, I didn’t have to face the dreaded Pune traffic.”
The woman delivered the baby on the back seat and thanks to the driver’s carefulness, they reached Kamala Nehru Hospital safe and sound.
Ishwari and her family are thankful to Yashwant and amazingly, he even drove mom and newborn to home when she was discharged on 5th October.
