According to reports this phone is a special edition and only 8 pieces are made for sell. It is priced at whopping $3,60,000 (Approximately INR 2.33 Crores). Vertu always does something special for its customers. Obviously you don’t expect a phone worth Rs 2.3 Crores to be delivered by a delivery boy. This time, the Vertu SIGNATURE Cobra Limited Edition will be delivered to the customers via a helicopter.

What is so special about it?

Well, if you are looking for features then this phone has nothing to offer in that aspect. The specialty about this phone is its look. The phone, as its name suggests, is surrounded by Cobra which is crammed with 439 rubies. It is hand-assembled in the UK and is made by a French royal jewelry brand called the Boucheron.
The eyes of the Cobra are composed of two emeralds. You should also know that the SIGNATURE Cobra is made of 388 separate parts!

Coming to specs there is nothing much to talk about. It is just like other feature phones. It sports a 2-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 TFT LCD display protected by sapphire crystal. You get 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. You also get a removable battery with a talktime of up to five and a half hours.

Curious about where to buy from?

As mentioned above, only 8 pieces are available and it will be sold only on Jingdong Mall, the Chinese online retailer. Interested customers can pre-book on a payment of $145 (roughly Rs 9,500). On full payment of the handset, Vertu is said to deliver the handset to buyers via helicopter.
