Brock Lesnar, the former heavyweight champion and popular WWE superstar has always won the hearts of millions of his fans. However, there is bad news for all of you. Want to know what?
Well, has been suspended for a year and not only this, he also has pay a fine of whopping $250,000. This penalty has been imposed by Nevada Athletic Commission and this is because, Lesnar failed in 2 drug tests, before his UFC 200 main event against Mark Hunt, which took place on the 9th of July 2016. He won against Hunt and even won $2.5 million.
According to reports, a US Anti-Doping Agency drug test was conducted on the 28th of June, and in that, Brock was tested positive for Hydroxy-Clomiphene, an anti-estrogenic agent.
Hunt criticized UFC for allowing him to fight the UFC 200 in spite of Lesnar failing 2 drug tests and that too before the event.
As of now, the event has been declared as a no-contest. Now, Lesnar can participate in the competition only in July 2017. There is also a likelihood of him receiving a similar suspension from United States Anti-Doping Agency.
