Today, a new trailer of X-Men: Apocalypse has been released by Fox. Just like Captain America: Civil War and Bataman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this film too would have super powered beings pitting against one another. However, in case of X-Men: Apocalypse, it would be mutant to mutant.
The biggest question about this movie is how Xavier’s mutants- Quicksilver, Nightcrawler, Beast, Mystique, Jean Grey and Cyclops would stack up against the 4 horsemen of Apocalypse- Angel, Storm, Magneto and Psylocke. This is not fair since the team of Xavier is little green and little young.
There is a pinch of matchup in this brand new trailer as mutants are seen going head to head. There is a fight scene between Cyclops i.e. Tye Sheridan and Storm i.e. Alexandra Shipp and also between Angel i.e. Ben Hardy and Nightcrawler i.e. Kodi Smit-McPhee.
Beast i.e. Nicholas Hoult and Psylocke i.e. Olivia Munna are dueling too. Looking at the trailer it is difficult to judge how Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), the comic books’ cosmic powerhouse would factor in. This leaves Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Charles Xavier( James McAvoy) and Mystique( Jennifer Lawrence) to tangle against each other.
X-Men: Apocalypse is all set to hit the theaters on 27th of May. Enjoy the trailer:
