The Indian cricket fans are still in celebration mode as the Indian cricket team fulfill their wish of winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and ended the 11 years long drought of winning the ICC trophies.
The Indian squad clashed against South Africa in the final match of the mega event and won it by 7 runs in order to lift the T20 World Cup trophy. With this, Rohit Sharma becomes the third Indian captain to win the World Cup after Kapil Dev (1983) and MS Dhoni (2011) and the second skipper to win the T20 World Cup after MS Dhoni (2007).
India had to wait for 17 years for winning their second T20 World Cup trophy so it was quite obvious that many senior cricketers such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli along with Hardik Pandya were not able to control their emotions and tears of happiness were flowing from their eyes.
After the presentation, everyone was busy celebrating the moment with the teammates or their family members. The young cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal was seen enjoying the moment alone as if he was enjoying his own company and he was passionately waving the Indian flag while standing in the ground.

Though Yashasvi Jaiswal was a part of the Indian squad in the T20 World Cup 2024, he didn’t play even a single match as the Indian team management preferred to play Virat Kohli as an opener.
