From today, February 28th is the day for which every Hollywood movie lover will wait for, because that is the day on which the 88th Academy Awards will take place. The host of the award function will be Chris Rock.
On Thursday morning, in a live press conference from Beverly Hills, the nominations for the 88th Academy Awards were announced. The press conference was addressed by the Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs, actor John Krasinski and directors Guillermo del Toro and Ang Lee and they announced the nominations of all the 24 categories.
Channel ABC will telecast the award show on February 28, live from 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PST and the venue of the function will be Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.
