Many people have been taking a jibe at PM Modi over his “Chai” profession. Often, we come across trolls and puns on social media about Modi selling tea. However, people must realize that it was his profession then and shouldn’t be made fun of.
What people are ignoring is Modi’s inspiring journey from a tea-seller to a successful PM. He’s leading the country so well and needs appreciation for the same.
Yesterday, congress was slammed on social media for making fun of Modi. Well, Youth Wing left an insulting comment over selling tea and this hurt the sentiments of all Modi fans. Official handle of Congress’ online magazine “Yuva Desh” tweeted a
derogatory meme against our PM.
In this, we can see Modi, Donald Trump and Theresa May standing together and discussing something. In this, May is seen taking a dig at Modi, by asking him to focus on selling tea rather than other things.
The tweet was deleted later, but it received heavy criticism.
Distasteful language!
Absolutely distasteful language & doesn't go with Congress' ideology. Hope @yuvadesh has taken down the tweet and apologised for it.

Poor taste!
What is about elements of the Congress party that commit political suicide with such amazing regularity? This tweet is in such poor taste. https://t.co/swRy5l57WU

Blantantly classist!
This blatantly classist and anti-poor Tweet by the Youth Congress shows their mindset towards India’s poor. Does Crown Prince @OfficeOfRG support this? https://t.co/gOqRqWIfL4

One more!
Although the handle @Yuvadesh is being run by youth volunteers and not by @iyc ,we do not approve of such humour and apologise.
Despite political differences with the BJP & having suffered everyday abuse from their leaders, we respect the Prime Minister & all political opponents.— Amarinder Singh Raja Warring (@RajaBrar_INC) November 21, 2017
After receiving backlash, they apologised;
Sincere apologies Raja Sir. As directed by you the tweet has been deleted.
Will ensure that the mistake does not happen again. https://t.co/lAEWkO5Ryi

Hope this mistake isn’t repeated. Such disrespect towards the PM is not at all fair. What do you think?
