Nothing stops you from picking up the phone and calling the good ol’ Domino’s to get yourself some delicious pizza. But, what do you know about your favourite pizza-wala? Here are some awesome facts.
1. On 30th January 2015, an unsuspecting peckish citizen in Peru ordered a takeaway pizza from Domino’s and that was the last of it. Why? He found a cockroach sticking out of his pizza! After the discovery, authorities closed down the said branch of Domino’s.
2. Famously known as the ‘Domino’s killers’, two armed man tortured and killed the rich CEO of American Iron Works, Inc., his wife and 10 year old son while eating Domino’s pizza. The pizza delivery boy was also held hostage, but was saved later.
3. The company actually makes more money by supplying pizza dough and toppings to the franchises rather than selling pizza directly.
4. James Monaghan sold his share of the company to his brother to buy a second hand Volkswagen Beetle. Tom Monaghan walked to the bank laughing as he sold 93% of his company for about a billion dollars later.
5. Apparently, you can make up to 34 million types of pizza combinations; I wonder how people actually choose?

7. Domino’s Avoid the Noid in the 80’s caused a guy called Kenneth Noid to think they were talking about him. He held two Domino’s employees hostage for hours over it.
8. Due to their 30 min guarantee, Domino’s lost about $90 million dollars settling law suits when their delivery drivers got in accidents.
9. When Domino’s joking conducted a poll to know what the customers were doing when their pizza arrived. It revealed that Calvin Klein was the most preferred underwear brand in the US.
10. Domino’s claims to have the world’s fastest pizza maker, Pali Grewal, who hand-tosses hundreds of pizzas everyday.
