An X account titled “Ghar Ke Kalesh” posted the photos which Kavya sent to her father Raghuveer Dhakad and also the screenshot of the chat that he had with kidnappers (Kavya & her friends).

On 18 March, Raghuveer Dhakad filed a police complaint regarding his daughter’s alleged abduction and the matter got more priority after the Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia got in touch with the Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and asked him to ensure safe return of the girl.

The police authorities acted swiftly and revealed that the last location of Kavya was her hometown Indore. The senior officer revealed that Kavya came to Kota with her mother in August 2023 but she left for Indore after her mother left (in three days) and since then, she has been living in Indore with her male friend and the photoshoot was also done at a mutual friend’s house.

SP Amrita Duhan further said that whether Kavya did it on her own or under pressure, it will be revealed only after she is traced and she also requested Kavya and her friends to contact the nearest police station.
