The SRK and Anushka Sharma movie “Jab Harry Met Sejal” didn’t open to a great start on Friday. Although there was too much buzz among critics and cinegoars, the film failed to meet expectations. Unfortunately, this is the lowest opener of SRK in last 5 years; at least 20 crores on a single day were predicted.
On Saturday, there was a further decline in collections. JHMS minted 15.25 crores on the first day and on the second day, the collections dropped to 15 crores; since it was Saturday, a boost was expected but once again, predictions went wrong.
Even on the 3rd day, there’s no growth as such. Let us see what Taran Adarsh has tweeted about Sunday collections;

Yes, on Sunday i.e. the 3rd day, the film collected only 15 crores. With this, the first weekend total has become 45.75 crores.
Sunday figures could have been better, don’t you think so? For an SRK film, 50 crores is possible in 2 days itself, but in case of JHMS, it has not been possible even in 3 days.

Total- 45.75 crores
