Next time you feel like munching on someting grab a handful of almonds. They are filling, full of health benefits and taste good too.
A powerhouse of nutrition, lentils are a good source of potassium, calcium, zinc, niacin and vitamin K, but are particularly rich in dietary fiber, lean protein, folate and iron.
7. Peanut butter
Instead of using jam, butter or other spreads on your toast try peanut butter. Along with protein, fiber and healthy fat the creamy texture is appealing and will satisfy you longer than other spreads.
So instead of opening a packet of chips or ordering a pizza when you feel hungry, just try something different. You might be surprised.
