But if Hugh Jackman was the cream over the cake then Dafne Keen aka Laura was the cherry. The adorable killing machine forced all of us to fall in love with her. Her attitude, anger and a pinch of kindness made us believe that she has Logan’s blood coursing through her veins. Here are some things you may not know about Dafne.

1. She is the daughter of actor Will Keen.

Yes! Acting is in her blood. Her Father Will Keen is best known for playing the role of “Michael Adeane” in the Netflix’s original series “Crown”. Dafne in an interview said, “I remember spending entire school holidays in rehearsing spaces, watching my mum and dad working and followed them around on tour or on film sets all the time”. In addition to that, Dafne’s mother, Maria Fernandez Ache is a Spanish director, actor and writer. In 2015 she also co-starred in the movie Anti-Social which featured “Suits” star, Meghan Markle.

2. She did her acting debut in the TV series “The Refugees”.

She did her acting debut alongside her father Will Keen in the English/Spanish television series “The Refugees”. She played the role of Ana “Ani” Cruz Oliver. The TV series features the biggest exodus in the history of mankind, where 3 billion people travel to the present from the future to escape the global disaster. All these refugees must follow two rules, they must not contact their families and they must not talk about the future.

3. She is bilingual.

Dafne speaks fluent English and Spanish, which actually helped her a lot in playing the character of the Latina pre-teen Mutant. The director of the film James Mangold, in an interview said, “It was a huge risk for Fox to allow me to make a movie where the third point of the triangle was built upon someone so young.” He also praised her saying “She is a remarkable kid”.

4. Dafne is fond of Ballet and Piano.

In an old tape, the nine-year-old Dafne sitting in the grass introduces herself and tells that she likes Ballet, Piano and cars. She further explains how she makes an electric car using a cardboard, battery and three bottle tops.

5. Her scariest day on the set wasn’t slicing body parts

In an interview, when Dafne Keen was asked about her scariest experience on the sets, she replied that it was meeting Patrick Steward aka Charles Xavier as she already met Hugh before joining the set.

6. She is a Gymnast

Dafne has got a flexible body and quite impressive acrobatic skills. In fact, she tackled many of the stunts on her own. In a video, the little monster did a two hand flip in the grass and fell down saying that she did it badly.

7. She will be back

Wolverine came to an end but his very end was for the holy purpose of saving the handful of mutants left on the planet, so Laura with her friends will be back. In an interview director Mangold said, “I think Dafne is incredible in the film and I would love to see another film about that character and that’s certainly something I’d be involved in, for me that was one of the big additions I brought to the table, this decision to try to make the film about family and to try to insert Laura.”
