Kapil Sharma, the popular stand-up comedian, is again in the news for his illegal Oshiwara flat construction. The whole story started two weeks ago and is still taking new turns every alternate day.
The new twist in the story
The Police conducted a panchnama on Kapil Sharma’s Oshiwara flat on Thursday and revealed the string of breaches that might put him in a grave trouble. The story began with Kapil’s tweet stating his disappointment with the extra amount that he was asked to pay for his Versova office, despite his tax record being clear.
The recent investigation reveals a different story
The case was looked into deeply and the police found out that a lot of breaches have been done by the actor. According to the investigation, the actor has been reported for various illegal alterations in his Oshiwara flat. The actor has made several changes in the structure of the apartment like pulling down some rooms to make them more spacious and replacing the kitchen as per his convenience.
Apart from these alterations in his flat, he was reported to have encroached the mangrove region for extending his office. A report has been filed about two weeks ago about the illegal changes in his flat and the police have conducted a panchnama on Thursday for the same. His entire apartment was video-graphed as an important evidence.
Subhash Khanvilkar, a senior inspector from Oshiwara Police Station adds,
“We have called Kapil Sharma to record his statement. Once we have that we will submit a complete report.”
Kapil was earlier booked with unauthorized extensions of his bungalow in Versova.
