After his popular ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ on Colors, Kapil Sharema returned to television with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV. The show became an instant hit, the show is gaining top TRP ratings in the non-fiction category. Every week there’s a celebrity guest on the show.
Kapil Sharma debuted a new character of ‘Rajesh Arora’ on his show. Kapil’s chacha ‘Rajesh Arora’ is the childhood friend of Dr. Mashoor Gulati. Rajesh Arora mocks and roast everyone around. The character is often seeing quoting the signature phrase – “Bilkul Pasand Nahi Aaya Mujhe”.
Rajesh Arora also keeps making fun of Navjot Singh Sidhu, a former cricketer, by reminding him that Waqar Younis clean bowled Sidhu on the first ball for zero during an India vs Pakistan match at Sharjah in 1990.
This Kapil Sharma Sidhu joke has become very popular because of the characters such as Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Rajesh Arora. The characters and their jokes are new, they are well received by the audiences. Kapil Sharma has also once called Waqar Younis in the live show (as a part of the act), Navjot Singh Sidhu’s reaction was hilarious.
