There is a tough competition between ‘Shivaay’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ at the Box Office! Yes, the biggies have clashed with each other on the 28th of October and since then, they are struggling hard to stay ahead in the race. Luck has favored ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, thanks to its star cast, Ash, Ranbir, Anushka and Fawad Khan, its ‘love-story element’ and of course the Karan Johar association!
On the other hand is ‘Shivaay’ which has been left behind by “ADHM” since day 1. In spite of being an Ajay Devgn starrer, this movie isn’t witnessing the expected collections and makers seem to be quite disappointed with this fact.
Everyone expected super-duper numbers for this flick. Low collections show that people give preference to love stories rather than this brilliantly made film. Nowadays, movies don’t work at the box office if they don’t have affairs and breakups! Now, the 3rd day collections are out; let us see how the movies have performed!

On the 3rd day i.e. Sunday, the collections of ADHM fell by 40 percent. Yes, it could garner just 9.20 crores, bringing the total to 35.60 crores. Although the collections are not as impressive as they should have been on a Sunday, one thing has made them happy. Well this is highest opening weekend for Ranbir and Karan Johar!
Day 1- 13.30 crores!
Day 2- 13.10 crores!
Day 3- 9.20 crores!
Total- 35.60 crores!

Once again Shivaay is struggling! On Sunday, makers expected some growth, but NO, the collections declined. It minted 8.26 crores on its 3rd day, bringing the total to 28.56 crores. It should have crossed the 50 crore club on the 1st weekend, but it seems it is not well accepted by the audience.
Day 1- 10.24 crores!
Day 2- 10.06 crores!
Day 3- 8.26 crores
Total- 28.56 crores!
