A lot was expected from Ajay Devgan starrer Shivaay & Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. In fact, the controversy sparked very high and it seemed that at least one of the two movies will break Box Office records. However, contrary to expectations, both couldn’t do that well as expected and there were ups and downs in terms of collections.
Talking about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the movie had a good beginning with ₹ 13.30 crores and had great collections on the fourth day, i.e., ₹ 17.75 crores but it came down with each day and could earn only ₹ 6.18 crores on the seventh day. And hence, the total collections of ADHM so far are ₹ 80.19 crores.
Take a look at the collections of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil:
Day 1- ₹ 13.30 crores
Day 2- ₹ 13.10 crores
Day 3- ₹ 9.20 crores
Day 4- ₹ 17.75 crores
Day 5- ₹ 13.03 crores
Day 6- ₹ 7.63 crores
Day 7- ₹ 6.18 crores
Total- ₹ 80.19 crores

Well, taking into consideration the stats till now, it can be said that the flick will enter 100 crores club in 10 days.
On the other hand, Shivaay lagged behind with opening collections of ₹ 10.24 crores; however, on the fourth day, this film also took a good jump and earned ₹ 17.35 crores and this number gradually started getting low. Talking of the seventh day, the movie collected ₹ 6.05 crores which make the total earning of Shivaay ₹ 70.41 crores.
