A shocking wave spread across the nation, as Modi announced the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes with immediate effect. It has been 4 days now that the civilians are lining up outside banks and ATMs for exchanging currency or withdrawing cash. Suddenly, the scenario has changed as rich have become poor and vice versa. However, the whole of India has stood in support of the PM!
We saw how Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and SRK praised PM Modi for this bold move. Now, after them, it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who congratulated the Prime Minister for his decision.
Firstly, she requested all Indian citizens to extend support their support to this ban and also asked them to look at the long term benefits.
As per reports, Aishwarya Rai said
“As a citizen, honestly I will say congratulations Mr Prime Minister. You have gone ahead with a very strong move for your larger plan to wipe out corruption in our country and that’s the larger overview we as a country need to recognize. Change is not always comfortable, everyone will find their way to embrace it if they focus on the larger picture.”
We are glad that Aishwarya has come forward to give a beautiful message to the citizens. Hardly we have seen her speak on such social issues.
