Gauri Shinde directorial “Dear Zindagi” has been running well at the Box Office. Weekend collections were good, but since Monday, the numbers have dropped. As of now, the movie has collected around 40 crores in 5 days. On Monday and Tuesday, it garnered 4.25 crores and 4 crores respectively; thereby maintaining a steady pace.

On the 6th day, Dear Zindagi managed to collect 3.25 crores, bringing the total to 44 crores. The numbers are low, but if the film maintains the same pace throughout the week, then 50 crores is not at all difficult. However, the performance of this SRK and Alia Bhatt starrer has been very good in the overseas market.
This is the first time that Shah Rukh and Alia have shared screen space and no doubt, their chemistry is looking rocking. Strong word of mouth and positive reviews from critics had done the magic on the opening weekend.
The competition will become very stiff with the release of Kahaani 2, the Vidya Balan starrer, this Friday. Vidya Balan enjoys a huge fan base, so do you think, the collections of Dear Zindagi would go super-low?
On the other hand, there are also chances that the movie might take a jump on the weekend. Nothing can be predicted as of now; let us wait and watch!
