Salman Khan, the most loved superstar of B-Town has accepted BMC’s offer for becoming the brand ambassador of its ODF i.e. Open Defecation Free Drive. Yes, now since he is the brand ambassador, he will be supporting BMC and will keep the megapolis clean; this will definitely be a great contribution to Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
Yesterday, Salman Khan met Ajoy Mehta, the municipal commissioner and accepted the proposal of BMC. Do you know how would he contribute? Well, he will donate 5 state of the art mobile toilets, isn’t it cool?
Mehta even thanked him for such a wonderful gesture. He said
“Our administration is making every step to keep the city clean and the actor’s active contributions in our efforts would definitely give a fillip in our efforts. Having a large fan following and being a popular actor, Salman’s support in terms of offering five mobile toilets across city would help us reducing the cases of open defecation.”
On the other hand, Salman Khan added that he is quite happy to be part of this campaign through Being Human and also added that he will try educating people about this open defecation issues.
Salman said
“In a mega-city like Mumbai, this looks really awkward to find people defecating in open. I will try my best to tell them to do away with this practice.”

Senior officials of BMC stated that audio-video presentations of this campaign would be shot in the upcoming days.
