Almost every movie of Aamir Khan is a treat to watch considering the fact that he never leaves any stone unturned in giving a superb performance and we really don’t need any proof to support this statement. After the tremendous success of “Dangal” on the box office, his fans are looking forward to upcoming movies of Mr. Perfectionist and the one on Rakesh Sharma’s biopic is undoubtedly a much awaited project.
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the title of Rakesh Sharma’s biopic has been changed to “Salute” from “Saare Jahan Se Achcha”. After “Thugs of Hindostan”, Aamir will be seen in Rakesh Sharma’s biopic in which he will play the lead character of the astronaut who was the first Indian to go to space and spend 27 days, 21 hours and 40 minutes there with two Russian astronauts, Yury Malyshev and Gennadi Strekalov. During this period they conducted 43 experimental sessions.
When Rakesh Sharma returned, he was asked by the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, as to how India looks like from the outer space and Sharma’s answer was ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’.
“Salute” is going to be the second biopic done by Aamir after “Dangal” and he started working for his role of an astronaut during “Dangal” only. The producer of the movie is Siddharth Roy Kapur and it’s directed by Mahesh Mathias, who is a famous name in the field of advertising.
The flick will start in 2018 as presently, Aamir is busy with Thugs of Hindostan, in which he is working with the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan; however, the female lead actress is not yet finalized. It will be produced by Yash Raj Films and just recently, his look for the film has leaked on social media.
